Employment Equity


1. Employment Equity Compliance

  • Advising employers on their obligations under the Act
  • Ensuring the organisation meets the requirements for designated employers
  • Preparing the workplace for possible inspections by the Department of Employment and Labour

2. Workplace Analysis

  • Conducting a demographic analysis of the workforce
  • Identifying barriers to employment equity in policies and practices
  • Reviewing recruitment, promotion, and remuneration structures.

3. Employment Equity Plan Development

  • Drafting or reviewing the organisation’s Employment Equity (EE) Plan
  • Setting numerical targets and timelines for representation
  • Aligning workforce demographics with national or sector targets

4. Employment Equity Committee Facilitation

  • Assisting with the establishment of an EE Committee
  • Facilitating consultations between management and employee representatives
  • Guiding committee roles and compliance requirements.

5. Reporting and Submissions

  • Preparing and submitting annual EE Reports to the Department of Employment and Labour (such as EEA2 and EEA4 reports)
  • Ensuring data accuracy and legal compliance.

6. Training and Awareness

  • Training managers and EE committee members on the Act
  • Conducting diversity and transformation awareness programmes.

7. Audits and Compliance Reviews

  • Conducting internal EE compliance audits
  • Preparing organisations for labour inspections or DG reviews
